Aug 2013 - AirWare to be established as a generic "middleware" cloud hub connecting 3rd party and AirData handheld software to 3rd party ERP, CRM, Accounting and Logistic Systems

AirWare to be established as a generic "middleware" cloud hub connecting 3rd party and AirData handheld software to 3rd party ERP, CRM, Accounting and Logistic Systems

The development of AirWare is showing signs of of potentially being a Cloud hub for those developing handheld software that wish to quickly and effectively connect to their Clients' backend systems.

Originally designed to serve AirTouch, AirData has recognised that the Achilles heel for most handheld development organisations is the backend connectivity. Also, there exist a plethora of formidable 3rd party utilities that assist in the scheduling and spacial management of their Clients' workforce that would significantly benefit from an independent Cloud-based effective and efficient midleware that could connect them.

Effectively, AirWare the logical secure bridge between Client back-end systems and their fieldforce software creating rich data flow and potential Management Reporting that combines both backend and field data.

This has encouraged the management of AirData to look at 2 revenue models. One which is an AirData first, launched about 2 years ago of a simple "per user per month" volume-based fee where the Client never pays more than this fee independent of change requirements to our system. The other is an immaterial "per transaction" fee for those development houses requiring connectivity between the handheld software and the backend systems. It is simply a matter of requesting our API.

Seeing AirData is already connected with SAP, Oracle, Pronto and Evolution, to mention a few, its expertise and embedded code makes this connectivity process almost seamless.

Contact AirData for further information.

Mar 2013 - AirData includes Waste Management into its software functionality

AirData includes Waste Management into its software functionality

The progress of the development of AirService and AirWare, now married with AirTouch (operational in sometimes on Telco comms) handheld software continues in earnest and is starting to have independent testing by potential Clients. Much progress and much yet to be done as feedback arrives faster than was expected.

AirData sales team requested that in the development of AirService, there needs to be Waste Management functionality as many requests are coming from that industry.

Organisations showing interest included Auscol and Western Resources, among others.

It was decided that the Waste Management flavour of AirService be called AirRecycle. It will be inbuilt into AirService functionality and will be enabled through software switches by our engineering team for specific Clients.

The crisis has accelerated several IT transformation trends leading to a new business terrain and an accordingly different IT environment. These structural changes will have far-reaching implications in the way IT services are funded and how IT performance is appraised. Currently riding on a fragile wave of economic buoyancy, organisations are understandably more discerning about technology expenditure focusing on the specific bottom line benefits of IT systems and strategies. Empowering your enterprise to improve its operational efficiency whilst supporting innovation can be met only if IT is able to provide better information on a timelier manner driving a powerful level of analytical capability.

The new economy IT approaches such as consolidation, virtualisation, cloud computing, social networking, and outsourcing are rapidly becoming the mantras of forward-thinking CIOs. Given the pervasive role of technology in society today, technology is an integral part of business operations and a crucial enabler of adaptation and change.

Jun 2010 - AirData at the 9th Annual Australian CIO Summit 2010

AirData at the 9th Annual Australian CIO Summit  2010
2-4 August 2010 - RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, Queensland

Mobility; the final frontier of significant ROI through technology.

AirData's keynote at this event suggests that mobility is the one of the last significant ROI opportunities for Enterprise Australia in the ICT spectrum and looks at how to avoid turning this opportunity in a major deployment disaster as experienced by some at the bleeding edge utilising non-Enterprise level software and hardware

With an increasingly challenging operating environment, the CIO faces multiple battles to ensure organisational competitiveness and unstainability. With technology advancing to new heights, greater possibilities emerge to change how businesses are run. A highly acclaimed event, the 9th Annual Australian CIO Summit 2010 is a premium forum addressing the top priorities of the modern CIO.

In the aftermath of the global crisis IT budgets are beginning to stabilise and businesses are preparing for recovery. For CIOs however, the work is not done. Much is still required of them during these challenging times as they continue to cut costs and adjust to new economic realities. CIOs will need to change the conversation from budgeting IT expenditures to changing the company's cost structure and performance if it is to thrive. Success in this task will only be achieved by those that create and implement the right strategy.

In the midst of this evolution, the Chief Information Officer continues to seek ground-breaking technologies that will positively impact the bottom line and solution providers need to position themselves at those precise IT investment hot-spots to reap the benefits. Modern CIOs will only respond and commit to IT solutions and strategies that cut costs, drive business innovation and ensure growth.

The Australian CIO Summit 2010 offers the perfect setting for sponsors to present their products and services directly to the key decision makers and gate keepers of Australia and New Zealand's IT budgets. Over three days, sponsors will meet and interact with top IT executives through a number of business one-to-one meetings and many networking activities. In addition, sponsors will attend the strategic summit sessions led by the thought leaders in the CIO and IT community. Within the luxurious settings of the Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast, this networking event presents a unique opportunity to develop meaningful and valuable business relations.
